Honestly, I was a bit worried about the learning curve coming from a fully digital setup, but the 12 XMAX preamps sound incredibly clean and the 24-bit, 96 kHz recording quality blew me away on the first take. It's a workhorse for my home studio, plain and simple.
Set the gain on a couple of my XMAX preamps and everything just stays clean and quiet, even when I push them. Recording straight to my computer at 96 kHz is a breeze with that 18x4 interface, and the analog feel is exactly what my studio needed.
