The 6.8-inch ribbon tweeter gives these a delicate, spacious top end that I've only heard on pricier speakers. They're not the flattest thing out of the box, but the "air" they add to vocals and cymbals is worth the tweak.

The AMT tweeter really does open up the high end—cymbal hits and room ambience feel far more present than on my old silk domes. Only gripe is the bass response feels a touch lean for my small room, but a little EQ fixed that.
